Dawn Princess World Cruise 2010 - Sunday June 6, 2010

Day 17 Bay of Bengal to Sri Lanka
There was a meeting today for the 135 people on board who are exiting the ship in Cochin and rejoining it again in Mumbai, after we have visited the Taj Mahal. We were given a very detailed itinerary, which shows quite lengthy days in India. On one day our wake up call will be 4.15 am . On the day we return to the ship we get back at 11.00 pm. During our time in India, we will be traveling by train, plane, bus and
rickshaw. As usual with India, there are many formalities to complete. Tomorrow we each have an individual appointment to meet with Indian immigration officials on the boat. There are innumerable bits of paper to sign for them. Again today, we did what has become the norm for sailing days – talk, relax, exercise, dance class and history lecture. The lecture today was on Diego Garcia, and the dance class was the cha cha. Tonight was formal dinner and Bill looked most handsome in his yellow bow tie. (Barbara)
